University Physicians' Association is currently seeking a qualified Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our fast-paced University Infectious Disease clinic.
Position Overview :
We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented professional who thrives under pressure and is passionate about patient care. In this role, you will work closely with physicians to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist physicians with patient care and clinical procedures
- Manage patient scheduling and clinic flow
- Handle prior authorizations and obtain pre-certifications for MRIs, CTs, and surgeries
- Track test results and ensure follow-up
- Triage patients and respond to inquiries professionally
- Maintain strong communication and positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Qualifications :

Requirements
6-months to 1-year previous medical experienceMA or EMT Certification.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and organization are critical to the overall success of the candidate.
