About the role :

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transportation of wholesale goods from the bakery to clients and business partners. This role ensures each order is delivered according to route schedules, maintaining product integrity and excellent customer service standards.

Essential Functions :

• Safely load, transport, and deliver baked goods and other products to clients according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with loading and unloading products from delivery vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with bakery staff to confirm product readiness and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, following all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Abide by all transportation laws and company driving policies; maintain a safe driving record.
• Handle payments or delivery confirmations as required.
• Provide friendly and professional service to all delivery partners and customers.
• Sweep and tidy the delivery and packing areas before and after shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
