Senior Network Engineer
Location : Philadelphia, PA

Salary Range : $85,000 to $115,000 per year based on experience and qualifications
Overview
The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage our network and server infrastructure in a hybrid environment. This role is critical to ensuring performance, reliability, and security across all IT systems within a leading healthcare and behavioral health organization.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Windows Server (2019–2025) , Windows 11 , HP and Grandstream switches , SonicWall firewalls , Microsoft Intune , Office 365 , and Barracuda backup appliances , along with familiarity with Entraconnect and SmartDeploy .
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Philadelphia, PA , offering stability, professional growth, and the opportunity to shape a secure, high-performance technology environment in a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain LAN and WAN infrastructure using HP and Grandstream switches
Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019–2025 environments
Administer and support Windows 11 desktop systems
Configure, monitor, and optimize network performance, uptime, and security
Manage SonicWall firewalls, including VPNs, access rules, and threat prevention features
Manage Barracuda backup appliances, including deployment, recovery testing, and reporting
Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune for device and application management
Administer Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for infrastructure issues
Integrate and maintain systems using Entraconnect
Implement and enforce IT security policies and best practices
Maintain detailed documentation (network diagrams, SOPs, configurations)
Provide Tier 3 escalation support and mentor junior IT staff
Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering and systems administration
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server 2019–2025 (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Hyper-V)
Proficiency with Windows 11 desktop environments
Working knowledge of SmartDeploy desktop automation software
Advanced configuration experience with SonicWall firewalls
Strong hands-on experience with Barracuda backup appliances
Proficiency with HP and Grandstream switches (VLANs, QoS, routing)
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Intune for device and app management
Experience with Office 365 administration and security policies
Familiarity with Entraconnect integration
Excellent understanding of networking protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications such as :
Microsoft Certified : Windows Server, Endpoint Administrator, or Azure Administrator
CompTIA Network+ or Security+
PowerShell or scripting automation experience
Familiarity with VoIP systems and network integration
Experience implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Work Environment
Monday to Friday schedule with occasional after-hours or weekend support when needed
