Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cath Lab position requiring at least two years of pediatric cath lab experience and current ACLS and PALS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position located in a pediatric cath lab within a hospital setting
  • Low-volume unit managing approximately 140 cases per year
  • Expected to circulate, with opportunities to monitor and scrub depending on experience
  • Day shift, Tuesday through Friday, working four 10-hour shifts from 8 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm
  • Call required, starting with two shifts per week and increasing based on lab needs
  • Experience with Epic and GE Mac Lab required; Claris experience preferred for EP but not mandatory
  • Floating within nursing scope may be required
  • Responsibilities include circulating, with options to monitor and scrub depending on skills
  • Preference for candidates with EP experience, but will consider those without
  • Training modules are completed during orientation and vary by specialty
  • Drug, smoke, and tobacco-free workplace
  • Natural nail policy applies
  • No local candidate radius restrictions
  • Must not exceed 40 work hours per week unless pre-approved
  • No holiday time off guaranteed; RTO must be requested in advance and is subject to manager approval

  • Active RN license (VA or compact state) required, or 30-day work authorization pending full licensure
  • Minimum two years of pediatric cath lab experience required
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
  • Experience with Epic charting and GE Mac Lab required
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school (ACEN or CCNE accredited diploma, ADN or BSN); BSN preferred
  • Must provide two professional references for consideration
  • Must not have been employed at the facility within the past twelve months
