KNM is currently seeking a public or public / private accounting professional for a growing and successful company. Responsibilities

• Perform all facets of the month-end close process for a new acquisition, including leading the integration of assets
• Liaise with teams across the finance and accounting organization
• Collaborate with business unit leaders on accounting related topics
• Serve as subject matter expert on technical accounting matters
• Research guidance on technical accounting issues and prepare accounting memos
• Coordinate technical topic conclusions with auditors
• Prepare first-year and annual GAAP financial statements
• Spearhead the financial statement audit process for the new acquisition
• Provide schedules to lenders
• Partner with external auditors on audit requests and technical accounting matters
• Identify, streamline and improve finance and accounting processes
• Mentor staff members on the team
• Participate in special projects as needed
