Job descriptionProvide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of visitors, students, staff, and / or vendors as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures. Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and / or students, addressing inquiries and providing directions or assistance as needed. Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management. Help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity through attentive presence and adherence to site protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a Security Professional - Education Desk Monitor in Radnor, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.
As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a dynamic education-focused location. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
