HR Generalist
Springfield, MA (Corporate Office)
Work Arrangements : Hybrid - 2 days remote, 3 days in office
Hours : Flexible; 30-40 hours / week (please indicate your preference when applying)
Compensation : $70,000-$75,000 / year + performance-based bonus
We are partnering with a well known organization with a local footprint that is seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Generalist to provide comprehensive human resources support and high-level executive assistance / office management for the President / CEO of a growing professional service organization This is a uniquely blended role, split evenly between HR functions and office management, requiring exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Position Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Maintain all employee records,
- Process payroll through payroll software for up to 50 employees
- Oversee talent acquisition efforts and managing pre-employment processes.
- Conduct detailed new hire orientations, provide benefits explanations, and ensure smooth onboarding procedures.
- Monitor and ensure complete compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as specific credit union policies.
- Update and maintain HR policies, the employee handbook, and procedures in line with current regulations.
Executive Assistant / Office Management Responsibilities
Provide confidential, high-level administrative support to the President / CEO, managing sensitive communications and projects with discretion.Prepare and coordinate meetings including executive travel and related logisticsLiaise with senior management to track updates on projects and strategic initiatives.Maintain corporate records, contracts, and key documents in line with regulatory compliance.Plan office events, milestones, parties, and other employee recognition programsWhat Sets This Role Apart

Proven experience in HR and AdministrationKnowledge of HR administration, including onboarding and benefits management.Ability to serve as an Executive Assistant / Office Manager as well as the HR GeneralistExceptional organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
