\n\nJob Description\n
The Temple is adding an Intermediate Care unit that will be part of the Float Pool. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse (RN) required to care for a patient population that will include Med / Surg, PCU, and ICU. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 3.
\n
The RN may be floated to other Stepdown and Med / Surg units in the hospital as needed but will not float to other critical care units. Procedures include but are not limited to : A-line, Bair Hugger System, FMS Systems, IV Insulin, IV Infusion / Endo, Stable DKA, IPAP, Non-Invasive Ventilation, Telemetry, and Peripheral Cath Withdrawals. The RN will assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician.
