Account Manager
UFP Site Built is the leader in designing and manufacturing value-added wood and non-wood products for the construction industry. We offer a wide variety of wood structural components, aluminum decks and rails, and light gauge steel structural components.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer base
- Identify customer needs and solve problems
- Understand and perform cost savings analysis for customers
- Generates new sales by promoting product line to new and existing customers
- Troubleshoots problems for customer
- Qualify customers' creditworthiness
- Monitors sales market in assigned region
- Prepares various reports as required
- Accounts receivable management
- Month-end inventory participation
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related areaMinimum of 5 years of experience in relevant building material sales, selling roof and floor trussesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applicationsPreferred manufacturing background, but not requiredPreferred experience and knowledge on UFP's organization, culture, and product linesCompensation
Salary Pay Range dependent on experience, geographical location, commission structure, and cost of living adjustments. Variable compensation may be available.
