Schedule : Part-Time
Clearance : Current DoD Secret Clearance strongly preferred. Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.

Position Overview
A defense contractor supporting U.S. Navy aviation operations is seeking a part-time Logistician to serve as a Navy Aviation Ordnance Analyst. This role supports live-fire data collection and flight line operations at NAS Fallon and associated ranges. Ideal candidates will bring extensive experience in aviation ordnance, close air support, or weapons systems analysis, along with a strong commitment to precision, safety, and mission readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and record detailed weapon component and aircraft-specific data during pre-flight and post-flight operations
- Observe and document weapon performance on live-fire ranges from designated safe locations
- Enter collected data into electronic databases with accuracy and attention to detail
- Attend planning, safety, and scheduling meetings with military personnel
- Travel to designated ranges via private vehicle or military transport as needed
- Operate UHF radios and scanners, interpret aircrew radio calls, and distinguish between high order, low order, and dud detonations
- Maintain readiness for short-term deployments to locations such as MCAS Yuma, NAS El Centro, and MCAS Miramar
Qualifications
High School Diploma requiredMinimum 8 years of experience in aviation ordnance, close air support, or equivalent field operationsCurrent DoD Secret Clearance strongly preferred. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearanceMust be able to obtain a flightline driver's license and support compensated travel between NAS Fallon and bombing rangesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word preferredPhysically capable of working on an active flight line including standing, kneeling, and walking for extended periodsExceptional attention to detail and legible penmanship requiredStrong working knowledge of Navy Strike Fighter aircraft weapon systems and configurations including FA-18, AV-8, F-35, H-60, and H-1Must be able to schedule time off around mission-critical data collection eventsTeam members are required to wear issued clothing while on dutyWhat You Can Expect
