Safety Coordinator - 1st Shift (Onsite)

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Maintenance Safety Coordinator Technician to provide support to develop and support safety for manufacturing operations for the disk and blades businesses.

The successful candidate will perform personal choice interventions, collect completed forms, log data, and maintain risk-analysis databases. They will also conduct risk assessments, deliver specialized safety training, and support both Disks and Blades Maintenance Teams.

Responsibilities :

• Perform personal choice interventions before high-risk work and daily task as needed.
• Collect completed forms, log data, and maintain risk-analysis databases.
• Conduct Risk Assessment and update JHA's etc.
• Deliver specialized Safety training as needed for maintenance team members
• Support both Disks and Blades Maintenance Teams
• Perform Lock Out / Tag Out audits and conduct annual LOTO assessments
• Oversee Elevated work and assist in PPE selection or job evaluation as required
• Perform data entry and utilize the EHS SMART safety management database as needed
• Conduct Safety-related area inspections and support site EHS staff with corrective actions concerning maintenance activities.
• Provide input and collaboration with site EHS to update and continuously improve key safety programs within Columbus.
