Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Employment Specialist at Foot Print to Success Clubhouse. Foot Print to Success is a Mental Health organization that provides vocational, educational, and social resources for adults with serious and persistent mental illness in a non-clinical setting. The Employment Specialist position will focus on vocational aid for the members of the program. If you are passionate about helping people with mental illness improve their lives through work and building self-esteem, confidence, and purpose, then this is the job for you! Responsibilities Guide members in acquiring the essential skills needed for performing work-related tasks. Work with members to gain a thorough understanding of their skill sets. Collaborate with employers to grasp their specific job requirements and needs. Assist in the development of transitional employment opportunities for members. Match members with suitable skill sets to relevant job openings. Provide members with additional training and conduct skill tests to enhance their capabilities. Edit resumes to enhance members profiles, aiding in their job search. Conduct mock interviews to help members refine their interview skills. Monitor job retention rate and provide post-employment support. Attend training programs and supervision meetings. Other duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred, or High School Diploma with relevant experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred. Demonstrates adept interpersonal abilities and strong organizational skills. Good judgment and problem-solving skills. Team oriented. Required proficiency in Microsoft programs like Word, Excel, Outlook, and Office Suite. Ability to quickly adapt to and learn other electronic databases, programs, and software as required.
