City of Ojai is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Trolley Drivers! If you love interacting with people, have a passion for providing excellent customer service, and enjoy driving, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities include :

  • Safely operate the trolley along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and city policies.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the trolley, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the trolley, reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable trolley.
  • Collect fares and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain a positive and engaging attitude throughout the shift.

Qualifications :

  • Possession of a California Commercial Class C Driver License with Passenger Endorsement or a Commercial Class B Driver License with Passenger Endorsement.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

    • This position is subject to DOT drug / alcohol testing requirements.
