A company is looking for a Senior Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
Assist with the annual audit and prepare financial statements for management
Maintain the company purchasing card system and submit annual Florida Unclaimed Property tax return
Required Qualifications and Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent education and experience; MBA or CPA preferred
Minimum of two years' accounting experience, preferably in healthcare
Hands-on experience with general ledger and related subsystems
Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
