ICU Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience

Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Proficiency in Dysrhythmia / EKG interpretation and Telemetry

Experience with EPIC EMR and clinical documentation systems

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit

Monitor patient status, interpret EKGs, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Accurately document patient information using EPIC EMR and maintain clinical records

Provide emotional and clinical support to patients and their families throughout the care process
