Pediatric General Surgeon with Academic Medical Center in Reno / Tahoe

Renown Health, Northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit healthcare network, is seeking to hire a Pediatric General Surgeon to join the largest multi-specialty department within the Renown Medical Group's Department of Surgery.

The ideal Candidate will have completed a General Surgery residency and Pediatric Surgery Fellowship with Board Certification or Eligibility with adequately focused general, ACS, and elective surgery experience with a minimum of three (3) years of pediatric general clinical surgery practice experience, pediatric trauma, and surgical oncology.

Core Responsibilities will include being a productive and participating member of the Department of Surgery Renown Medical Group under the leadership of the Chair of Surgery, Vice Chair of Surgery, teaching of medical students and residents, contribute to future strategy, and work closely with the pediatric service line leads in accomplishing identified strategies.

The Surgeon will work closely and in cooperation with the management staff, surgical colleagues, and UNR Medical School. The Surgeon actively participates in physician governance meetings, management decisions, and follows policies adopted by Renown Health and its medical staff.
