Hospital Employed OB / GYN Physician

Outpatient clinic. Deliveries at the hospital.

We currently have 2 physicians and 3 midwives in our practice. The CNMs take primary call (phones and deliveries), Physicians are back-up call in case of problems or emergencies. Range of 24-35 deliveries per month. CNMs do 90% of vaginal deliveries. Physicians are called in an average of 1-3 times a week (total, not each). Rough estimate of 40% GYN, 60% OB.
