Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards Loud Noises (Equipment / Machinery) Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses gowning gloves lab coat ear plugs etc.) Strong Odors (chemical lubricants biological products etc.)

Job Description

How You Will Make an Impact :

The Manufacturing Supervisor will be leading a team of associates to achieve a variety of goals including : workplace culture efficiency problem resolution process improvement and maintaining a safe work environment.

A Day in the Life :

• Lead team to meet or exceed operational goals in safety quality delivery cost and productivity
• Implement process improvements by applying PPI 5S and Lean methodologies
• Advise the daily work to ensure schedule completion while leading utilization and efficiency.
• Trend production metrics to identify areas of improvement.
• Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve operational excellence
• Ensures effective performance evaluations are prepared and delivered for all employees
• Coach and mentor staff to elevate overall performance and achieve departmental goals and objectives
• Make technical and business risk decisions under real-time pressure
• Ensures company policies and procedures are adhered to
• Initiates investigations into process failures product failures and safety incidents
• Interacts cordially with diverse internal functional groups to tackle moderately sophisticated problems
