CoreWeave is seeking a dynamic Associate General Counsel, Employment to join our Legal team. If hired, you will work on a broad range of global employment matters, including talent acquisition, employment agreements and separations, Employers of Record (EORs) and Professional Employment Organizations (PEOs), employee handbooks and policies, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, performance management, organizational restructures, M&A integrations, and other matters. You will help ensure that CoreWeave’s employment strategy, programs, and policies are structured to accelerate our business while complying with applicable law in all of our jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate will have experience scaling companies in a high-growth, tech environment. You will report to the Deputy General Counsel, Corporate, partner closely with the People team, and collaborate frequently with other key stakeholders, including Accounting, Payroll, Tax, Corporate Development and Securities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day and strategic advice on a variety of global employment law matters, including recruiting, hiring, and terminations, employment and separation documentation, EORs and PEOs, compensation and benefits, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, performance management, restrictive covenants, employee classifications, employee litigation, organizational restructures, and M&A integrations.
• Provide timely, business-focused advice and counseling in support of our global workforce strategies and policies in accordance with evolving global laws and regulations.
• Rapidly build trusted and inclusive partnerships with our People team and provide clear insights to address concerns and reach best outcomes.
• Review, interpret, and draft company policies and procedures.
• Monitor legislation, regulations, case law and government enforcement activities relating to relevant employment law areas, and provide proactive, strategic advice to relevant Legal, People, and business partners.
• Help build a robust corporate compliance program, including enhancing and maintaining employment policies, processes, and training programs with scalable frameworks.
• Conduct legal research on a variety of complex employment law issues.
• Work collaboratively to prioritize business objectives and support overall company success.
• Efficiently manage outside counsel.
• Support other projects, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

The base salary range for this role is $161,000 to $237,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
