Assignment Type : Locum tenens anesthesiology contract

Start Date : December 8, 2025

Shift : Day shifts, 5x8-hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 00)

Shifts per Week : 5

Shift Duration : 8 hours

Schedule : 7 on, 7 off (Monday–Friday with Saturday & Sunday call coverage); some weeknight call preferred

Weekend Call : Friday night to Monday morning

Facility Setting : Community hospital with 5 operating rooms

Qualifications – Anesthesiologist Requirements

Board Certified Anesthesiologist (required for all anesthesiology jobs)

Active New York medical license

Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Minimum 1 year of recent clinical anesthesia experience

Emergency privileges available (regular credentialing : 45-60 days)

Responsibilities – Locum Tenens Anesthesiology

Deliver anesthesia services for urology, orthopedics, endoscopy, podiatry, general surgery, and obstetrics cases

No cardiac or neurosurgical cases required

Manage daily caseloads : 12-14 cases on slow days, up to 25-28 on busy days

Split duties : 50% solo anesthesia cases, 50% CRNA supervision

Participate in scheduled call coverage, including weekends and some weeknights

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
