Job Overview :

The Endoscopy Tech functions as a member of the healthcare team and performs selected patient care activities under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse, and is responsible for identifying critical unit support activities. Is responsible for knowledge of the patient population served. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors / walls / ceiling tiles / unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

Qualifications : Required :

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
• Successful completion of Nursing Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Health Care Technician or other clinical care program and / or previous clinical experience as an NA, CNA, PCA, EMT or nursing or medical student
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Endoscopy Tech Certification
