• we bring in an outside speaker to train on everything from new modalities to mindfulness meditation to personal finance, all in the interest of helping our team members grow Write your own bio – whether you specialize in therapeutic bodywork or traditional spa massage, you'll attract the type of work you like doing most W-2 Employee status (we take care of everything for you) Your safety is our priority – we have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or misconduct Nurturing, supportive environment, no matter where you're at in your career Leadership and career advancement opportunities in management and training Team-building offsites Feel-good partnership with Canine Companions (for every membership sold, we donate a day of canine support to a person with a disability) YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AT SQUEEZE As the Lead Therapist, you will spend about 20-30 hours per month on the following: Facilitate Squeeze School (new therapist training) Interview therapist candidates and evaluate practical skills Liaison with massage school partners Participate in recruiting events Coach therapists on technique/body mechanics Ensure shop massage standards exceed expectations You will spend the remainder of your time performing massage with the following responsibilities: Deliver an amazing, personalized massage each and every time Review guest preferences prior to service Understand our shop technology and in-suite guest touch-screens Maintain suite cleanliness to Squeeze standards EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Licensed/certified in your state with at least 5-years of practical field experience Experience in training, mentoring, and developing other therapists' skillsets Expert in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Prenatal modalities Proven track record in delivering an exceptional guest experience Passionate about delivering a personalized massage and adjusting to your guest's needs Available to work at least 24 hours a week (full-time) Must be available to work at least one weekend shift (Saturday-Sunday) Enough from us though, let our therapists tell you why Squeeze is a 5-star employer on Glassdoor and why 96% of our therapists would recommend us as a great place to work : “Leadership here is fantastic.
