Join our dedicated team at US Renal Care as a Patient Care Technician (PCT), where you will play a vital role in transforming the lives of patients battling renal failure. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN), you will be an essential part of a cross-functional team delivering compassionate care and executing delegated treatment activities.
What you'll be doing
Patient care : Interact directly with patients to provide a safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis experience. Your responsibilities will involve gathering vital statistics before and after treatments, initiating and monitoring treatment sessions, terminating treatments, and collecting blood samples as ordered by physicians.
Technician Duties : Ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy by preparing and disinfecting dialysis machines, conducting thorough machine safety checks, and logging results for continuous quality control while strictly adhering to protocols and regulations.
Safety and Quality : Implement appropriate safety measures, including the use of personal protective equipment. As part of a dynamic team, you'll comply with all company policies and state / federal regulations while actively engaging in mandatory meetings and continuing education opportunities.
The Dialysis Patient Care Technician position is based at our clinic located at 280 Clinton St, Macon, GA 31217.
