Service Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Service Manager to oversee our shop and service department ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise the daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow coordination.
2. Develop and implement service policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient and effective operations.
3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of service technicians, providing coaching and guidance as needed to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to company standards.
4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues promptly to ensure complete satisfaction.
5. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, as well as support existing customer accounts.
6. Monitor and manage service department inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels of parts and equipment are maintained.
7. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize department performance.
8. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
9. Provide regular updates and reports to upper management on service department performance and initiatives.
10. Participate in ongoing professional development and industry-related training to stay current with the latest trends and best practices.

Requirements:

1. Service Manager experience, with a focus on service management or a related role.
2. Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a diverse team of technicians.
3. Excellent customer service skills and a proven track record of resolving customer issues promptly and professionally.
4. Knowledge of truck equipment, body solutions, and industry best practices.
5. Computer proficiency.
6. Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

What we offer:

1. Competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings options. $55,000 - $85,000 starting salary depending on experience.
