LHH is hiring an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a fast-paced commercial real estate team in Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in commercial or residential real estate, preferably in a law firm setting, and will thrive in a detail-oriented, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:- Prepare, review, and organize documents for commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and closing packages
- Analyze and summarize title commitments, policies, surveys, and other due diligence materials
- Manage the closing process from start to finish, keeping timelines and checklists on track
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and opposing counsel to ensure smooth transactions
- Support due diligence efforts, including reviewing organizational documents, zoning letters, estoppels, and third-party reports
- Assemble closing binders and ensure all documents are properly executed, recorded, and distributed
- Track post-closing obligations and follow up on any outstanding items
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files, following firm procedures
- Provide general paralegal support to attorneys as needed
Qualifications:- Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions and closings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion
