Job descriptionCommensurate with relevant experience. $20- 24 / hr. Practiced in the skill of advanced patient handling and restraint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Unparalleled patient care and customer service. Flexibility and adaptability. Work well as part of a team. Must be eligible to work in the United States and have original, unexpired documents to verify eligibility. Must be able to pass a 7-year background check and drug test (complying with local, state and Federal guidelines). We're hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our outstanding Neurology team!
Are you an experienced Veterinary Assistant or LVT student who excels in patient handling, restraint, and communications?
Do you enjoy the thrill of Specialty medicine and patient care? Do you want an opportunity to hone your specialty skills? Are you looking for a leadership path with development and training opportunities to support your career growth?

- You love to learn and want to master neurological anatomy and functions.
- Your patient restraint skills are top notch, and you want to learn how and why neurologic patients require specific restraint / patient skills.
- You're keen attention to details helps you recognize changes in patient attitude, abnormal behavior, and changes in condition.
- You work well independently and as a part of a close- knit team.
- You pride yourself on your written and verbal communication skills.
- You enjoy client education including intake and discharge instructions.
- You adapt to the individual needs of each patient and are not afraid to ask questions.
- You maintain your calm in stressful situations and maintain a positive attitude.
- EzyVet and SmartFlow experience is a plus!
