• Location : Philadelphia, PA
• Schedule : 2-4 weeks per month
• Shift : Monday Friday, 8a-5p
• Call : rotating
• Phone consult volume : 1-5 per week
• Scope : complex heart malformations, complex forms of tetralogy of Fallot and atrioventricular canal defects, valvular heart disease (replacements or repair), heart rhythm disorders (pacemakers, implantable defibrillators), or lung disorders related to congenital heart diseases
• Patient volume : 3 per day
• EMR : Cerner
• Supervision of residents / fellows
• Group : one other cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiologists, nurse practitioners, critical care, anesthesiologist, nurses, social workers
• Hospital : 188 beds, level I trauma center
• Required : Board certified with Pennsylvania license or willing to apply
