Tinsmith (Grades 7 - 9)

The pay range for this position ranges from $28.88 / hr - $32.08hr.

This is an experienced position to work in the Tinsmith Trade.

Applicants will be assigned any Tinsmith trade function, including (but not limited to) :

• Fabrication of items made from sheet metal, steel, stainless steel, and aluminum such as hull outfit foundations, lockers, bunks, shelving, ventilation, guards, tables, counter tops, racks, etc, using fabrication sketches and drawings.
• Installing items on units or on ships including (but not limited to) : shelving, ventilation, guards tables, racks and countertops, layout and install hull outfit foundations, curtain plate and deck shoe, joiner bulkheads etc., using blue prints.
• Fabricating and installing main engine and generator exhaust and intakes using fabrication sketches and drawings.
