Max .55T MRI installed within Cook Advanced Technologies.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and enforce safety guidelines and procedures for the MRI LaboratoryTrain new and existing Primary and Secondary MRI OperatorsSchedule and perform Secondary MRI Operator safety training seminarsSchedule (at request) Primary MRI Operator Test-Out ExamsPerform routine Quality Assurance and Verification of the MRI and accessory devices, evaluating results, and maintaining documentationEnsure the privacy of Class 1 and Class 2 data according to Cook policySecurely maintain records of safety documentation and Protected Health InformationOrder supplies and Personal Protective Equipment necessary for safe and effective operation within the MRI LaboratoryQualificationsUndergraduate Education in Radiation Sciences or Magnetic Resonance ImagingBachelor’s Degree required, Masters or Phd desiredOrganizational skillsGood interpersonal communication skillsBasic knowledge of anatomy and physiology in humans and animalsPrior Siemens MRI Experience preferredBasic knowledge of MRI PhysicsUnderstanding of safety procedures regarding safety in an environmentQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
