COLLATERAL SPECIALIST

Collateral Specialist

As a Collateral Specialist, your day will be filled with opportunities to process and set up collateral records, ticklers and clearing of loan exception as well as perfecting the bank's collateral position. Banking experience in loan processing is important to function successfully in this position while Stock Yards Bank will provide a professional environment to continually improve the candidate's skills to further his / her career goals for advancement within the banking profession.

Responsibilities :

• System set up of collateral records and ticklers
• Lien perfection of titles, UCC's, Mortgages and any other collateral taken
• Clearing of loan exceptions
• File loan documents in file room and review collateral documents for completeness prior to sending to jurisdiction for perfection
• Other duties as assigned
• Provide highest level of quality service
• Customer contact with internal and external customers
• Work closely with all personnel in Loan Operations
• Be able to make decisions within limits set within the Loan Operations Department
