Avenue5 is a vibrant third‑party multifamily property management firm with locations across the United States. Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with on‑site property teams and corporate marketing to design customized growth strategies for 25‑40 regional properties.
  • Recommend effective property marketing programs, including demand generation, retargeting, marketing automation, and digital / social media.
  • Create dynamic and engaging marketing campaigns using both digital and traditional channels (e.g., brochures, flyers, direct mail, billboards, email, landing pages, microsites, social media, radio).
  • Mentor on‑site property marketing teams in collateral development for websites, ILS, Craigslist, social media, and print.
  • Understand business objectives to maximize property marketing performance.
  • Review and analyze property budgets with operations and clients.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, technology, and competitor strengths / weaknesses.
  • Present marketing strategies and results at quarterly and annual business reviews.
  • Coach on‑site sales teams, provide performance feedback, and support sales techniques.
  • Work with property teams to create growth strategies and support RFP / RFI responses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Five plus years of experience in direct real estate multifamily marketing within the property management industry is required.
  • Three to five years of pre‑development, lease‑up, and / or grand opening experience preferred.
  • Three to five years of advanced proficiency in social engagement and marketing campaign management on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest is required.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required.
  • Three to five years of experience in website, ILS, Craigslist, SEO, SEM, and digital data aggregators is required.
  • Three to five years of experience in Yardi Voyager Marketing module, RealPage, or other equivalent system is required.
  • Two to three years of digital, creative, and branding agency experience required.
  • Three to five years of experience in Google Drive, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords is preferred.
  • Participation in industry groups is a plus.
  • OMCP certification is preferred.
  • Skills and Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of MS Office Suite (including Excel functions).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional conceptual and creative thinking skills with solid knowledge of typography, color theory, design, and layout principles.
  • Exceptional project management skills required (PMP certification is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of property management industry trends, issues, and emerging technology.
  • Outstanding presentation skills to command an audience of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing, expanding, and developing client relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and go‑getter attitude with proven ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Create a climate where associates want to do their best by leading and communicating a shared vision and providing coaching and development.
  • Positive demeanor, voracious appetite to learn new things, and excellent professional judgment.
  • Required to complete Avenue5 Fair Housing and Prevention of Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses, if assigned.
  • Scheduling

  • Required to maintain a regular schedule that may require working outside business hours, weekends, and non‑traditional holidays.
  • Ability to travel (35%).
  • Environment

  • Exposure to an office building environment.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to remain stationary, move around, reach, and position oneself for extended periods.
  • Must be able to observe and detect signs of emergency through visual and / or auditory cues.
  • Ability to communicate and express ideas with others, and convey detailed instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Ability to perceive sounds at normal speaking levels.
  • Visual requirements include color, depth perception, and field vision.
  • Ability to compare, copy, coordinate, synthesize, negotiate, and instruct.
  • Ability to tolerate stressful situations.
  • Ability to work under minimal to moderate supervision.
