Join Our Team as a Surgical Technologist I!

Are you ready to make a difference in patient care and join our amazing Operating Room team? We are looking for dedicated Surgical Technologists who are passionate about their work. At Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, the largest hospital in Wisconsin, you will be part of a 24 / 7 heart-care team providing innovative care to patients.

Your Role :

Maintain a clean and safe environment to deliver optimal patient care.

Utilize aseptic techniques during surgical preparations and assist during procedures.

Be responsible for the setup and breakdown of surgical rooms and equipment.

Function as a Second Assistant when necessary, supporting surgeons with instruments and supplies.

Ensure proper sterilization and inventory of surgical items and equipment.

Transport patients and assist with their positioning before and after procedures.

Key Requirements :

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.

No previous experience required; we value your training and enthusiasm!

Physical Demands :

Ability to lift, push, pull, and transfer patients and equipment.

Capacity to remain focused in a high-pressure, fast-paced surgical environment.
