Quotations Specialist

A growing construction and electrical distribution team based in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a dynamic Quotations Specialist. This role partners closely with the Sales Team and customers to deliver precise quotations, manage pre-bid takeoffs, and coordinate projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and a talent for providing hands-on, customer-focused service while navigating complex electrical specifications and fast-paced project timelines.

Quotations Specialist Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service through email, phone, and in-person communication
• Review electrical construction drawings and specifications to prepare accurate project take-offs
• Create complete and accurate bills of materials for quotation purposes
• Work closely with the Sales Team to develop pricing strategies and project quotes
• Solicit pricing from vendors and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Manage project orders and delivery timelines with customers and vendors
• Serve as a technical resource for team members on design and product questions
• Utilize vendor and internal software to prepare accurate project quotations for technical equipment and materials
• Support projects from initial quotation through completion, assisting customers and internal teams
