ABA Behavior Technician (BT) - North Orange County & Surrounding Area

TRAINING & JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Learn about the principles and procedures of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Receive paid ongoing training to implement learned strategies
- Learn about autism and how to treat the behaviors associated with the diagnosis
- Target client’s goals across skill areas, including: communication, social skills, play, self-care skills, and community safety skills.
- Work on client’s goals in the natural environment, including: home, school, and community
- Record daily data on client’s skills and behaviors during each session
- Learn to analyze this data to evaluate client progress
- Receive direction from your Supervisor to modify how goals are addressed, based on the data
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with your Supervisor to address questions and concerns
- Communicate and engage with the client's family in a kind, supportive and professional manner as you share progress updates.
- Work with applications, games, and web-based technology on a company tablet
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Required:
- Availability of at least 15 hours per week
- REQUIRED AVAILABILITY: Monday-Friday between 2:00-7:30 pm (at least 4 days out of the week), to meet the needs of our clients. Some families request Saturday appointments between 9:00 am-2:00 pm, so Saturday hours are available, but not required. Morning and mid-day hours may be available.
- High school diploma and some college units (or proof of registration to begin)
- US work authorization
- 40-hour training certificate of completion to be eligible for the position
- Experience is not required. Professional training is provided once you start.
- Individuals with experience and or a degree will be paid at a higher rate.
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Automobile insurance

- Completed some college courses (or are registered to begin courses)
- Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, per California state mandate for healthcare workers

Compensation range $17.00 to $27.00 hourly, depends on experience & degree
