We are searching for a dynamic and highly experienced Global Payroll Director to join our Accounting + Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our global payroll operations across various countries and currencies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex payroll systems, a deep understanding of international payroll regulations, and a strong ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities :

As a Global Payroll Director, you will be responsible for :

1. Overseeing and managing the company's global payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees across multiple countries and currencies.

2. Developing and implementing payroll policies and procedures that comply with local and international regulations.

3. Managing and resolving complex payroll issues, including garnishments, tax withholdings, and other deductions.

4. Reconciling payroll data and ensuring the accuracy of payroll reports.

5. Collaborating with HR, Finance, and other departments to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.

6. Providing leadership and guidance to the payroll team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

7. Keeping up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and best practices, and ensuring the company's compliance with these changes.

8. Working with external auditors and providing necessary payroll documentation during audits.

9. Utilizing Excel and other software tools to analyze payroll data and generate reports.

Qualifications :

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior payroll role, preferably with global or multi-country payroll management experience.

2. Extensive knowledge of payroll systems, regulations, and procedures, including multi-currency payroll processing.

3. Strong proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.

4. Experience with garnishments, reconciliations, and other complex payroll issues.

5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

6. Outstanding problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to resolve complex payroll issues efficiently and effectively.

7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex payroll information to non-payroll staff.

8. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a plus.
