One Two years of verifiable customer service and/or security experience qualify for:

Rate: $17.00

Availability: Evening Shift/Full Time (Days will vary Monday - Saturday)

Customer Plus Agent (Monday-Saturday) 2pm-10pm /40hrs

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and/or projects may be assigned.

• Patrol assigned area by vehicle or on foot to ensure public compliance with City of Atlanta parking ordinances concerning parking meter and residential parking limitations.
• Maintain close communications with dispatch using two-way radio communication device.
• Issue citations to illegally parked vehicles throughout area of enforcement
• Mark and time vehicles with commercial permits to enforce overtime parking in metered spaces
• Report City of Atlanta public safety parking violations to dispatch for sworn officer enforcement.
• Identify and report to dispatch boot or tow eligible vehicles in your assigned area on City of Atlanta streets that have outstanding parking violations accumulated
• Observe and report missing and or damaged signage and street markings to dispatch and management so it can be repaired.
• Enter vehicle information into handheld computers.
• Prepare and maintain records of parking enforcement activities including daily logs, void authorizations, and other pertinent data in support of the parking enforcement program.
• Appear in court at hearings regarding contested parking citations as required.
• Report defective parking meters and unenforceable meter due to lane closures, special events, construction, or permits to supervisors for recording and repair.
• Preform simple vehicle maintenance procedures such as checking oil and gas, and reporting mechanical problems to supervisors for repair.
• Provide quality customer service to all citizens out in the field while maintaining professionalism
• Candidates must understand that they will be working strictly outside and sometimes during adverse weather conditions such as heat, rain, and cold temperatures.
• Perform other related duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 3 points.
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check.
• Must be able to pass MVR check with no suspensions in the last 3 years.
• Must attend all training necessary for to enforce on city streets and be willing to work the weekend.
• Must be a citizen of the United States; a non-citizen national of the United States; a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or an alien authorized to work in the United States
• Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be willing to also work weekends.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job, with reasonable accommodation/ notwithstanding any disability.
