As our enthusiastic and hardworking Production Assistant 1 (Truck Driver), you will be responsible for (but not limited to) : following daily routing directions and avoid going off route without exception, managing your time daily to ensure the route is completed within the approved work schedule, responsible for the safe loading and unloading of assigned truck, training, instruct and supervise truck helper in their Work Therapy Assignment (WTA), responsible for Bag & Tag as instructed by Supervisor and procedure, ensuring that all customers are treated courteously and with good customer service, abiding by all DOT regulations and state and local laws while maintaining a safe driving record, attending all driver safety meetings as required, and other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Qualifications to be considered for this position include : high school graduate or equivalent, valid driver's license, clean driving record, strong time management and customer service skills, ability to operate electronic equipment used for daily route information, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis, ability to grasp, push, pull objects, ability to operate a motor vehicle, ability to lift up to 100lbs, and ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks. Work schedules are determined by management and employee must be flexible to always ensure adequate coverage. Full-time employees may be scheduled to work any full-time shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
