Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Location : Dallas, TX 75230 (Texas nursing jobs) Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Unit : Labor and Delivery (High Risk OB, 24 beds) Start Date : October 6, 2025 End Date : January 5, 2026 On-Site Registered Nurse Position Estimated Weekly Salary : $1820 - $1950 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Texas or compact state preferred) Minimum 2 years of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery nursing experience Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required Experience circulating in C-sections and recovering high acuity OB patients Ability to float to antepartum unit as needed Familiarity with GE fetal monitors and Meditech / CPN documentation systems preferred Compliance with hospital dress code (RN scrub color, no artificial nails, neat hair, covered tattoos, no visible piercings except ears) Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver bedside care for high-risk obstetrical patients in a 24-bed Labor & Delivery unit Circulate and assist in C-sections, perform vaginal deliveries, D&C, and provide post-delivery recovery care Monitor patients using GE fetal monitors and accurately document care in Meditech / CPN Maintain safe patient ratios of 2 : 1 or 3 : 1 as appropriate Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to antepartum unit within the Women’s Hospital as needed Uphold hospital policies, including attendance and dress code guidelines Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team and make a difference as a Travel Labor & Delivery RN in Dallas, Texas!
