Technical Sales Chemist

Job Description

Global manufacturer of automated wet chemistry laboratory instrumentation and robotics has an exciting opportunity to join its Technical Support team! Due to recent acquisitions and expansion, we are looking for a motivated, driven technical sales chemist who enjoys instrumentation and travelling to join us as a Junior Technical Sales Chemist. This individual will provide technical sales consultations to new and existing customers throughout the US with some possible international travel.

Responsibilities include :

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Attend conferences, trade shows and exhibitions
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, showcasing product benefits and applications.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets by promoting products and solutions
• Perform On-site & virtual instrument demonstrations at laboratories around the US
• Provide expert advice on the right instrumentation and methods for the customer
• Help with market research to identify competitor activities and potential areas for growth.
• Assist with sales and marketing strategies
