Responsibilities

• Bus maintenance such as gassing the bus, reporting any repairs needed and reading the bus script before each trip.
• Ensuring all riders wear seat belts.
• Cleaning the bus if the trip sponsor does not.
• Putting bus number and driver initials on gas receipt; turning in gas receipts.
• Signing P-card reconciliation monthly and pre- and post-trip inspection log.
• Keeping the mileage log, bus cleaning form.
• Maintaining all certifications and endorsements required to be a bus driver.
• Yearly physical and dexterity test.
• Yearly 8-hour safety training, maintaining a safe driving record and random drug screening.

Qualifications

Must have a safety certification and a current physical.
