Work Location : Corporate Headquarters – Pewaukee

Division : Finance (Full Time, Exempt)

Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial processes and compliance. Primary duties include preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
  • Years of Relevant Work Experience : 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
  • Certificates / Licenses : Driver’s License
  • Physical Job Requirements : Sit, stand and move throughout Company facilities

Key Activities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings, assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff; conduct performance evaluations and training as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
