Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Augusta, Georgia 30901 Assignment Length : 10 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 – End : 2 / 9 / 2026) Healthcare Setting : 14-bed PACU, daily case volume of approximately 45 Shift : Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (10 : 00 AM – 10 : 30 PM) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1460 - $1500 Employment Type : Travel nursing assignment Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend required Call Requirements : Occasional, as needed (11 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Charting System : Epic EMR experience required Scrub Color : Navy Blue PACU RN Qualifications Minimum 3 years of recent PACU Registered Nurse experience Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission) BLS and ACLS certifications required Prior travel nursing experience required Proficiency with Epic charting system Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO) during assignment Availability to work major holidays as per assignment policy Two supervisory references highly preferred PACU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care for adult and geriatric patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures (general, orthopedic, urology, neuro, vascular, plastics, and more) Monitor and manage patient airways, vital signs, and pain levels in a clinical setting Administer medications and blood products as needed Perform conscious sedation and manage post-operative complications Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, rapid response, and pharmacy services Document patient care using Epic EMR Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions Float to other nursing units within the facility as needed (rare) Participate in on-call shifts and weekend coverage as required Discover the charm of Augusta, Georgia, with its scenic riverwalk, thriving arts scene, and welcoming healthcare community.
