Summary
The Production Associate is tasked with following all production processes to meet or exceed quality, safety, productivity, and cost standards. The position will be part of an innovative team that is properly trained to meet the changing requirements of the operation.

Qualifications

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to understand instructions written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The work environment is cold 38 to 42 degrees. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
