• Duties :
• Assist dentists with patient care, including taking medical histories, preparing patients for procedures, and sterilizing instruments.
• Assist with All-on-Four implant procedures and other complex surgeries
• Utilize bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish.
• Provide administrative support, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and managing medical records with HIPAA compliance.
• Utilize Open Dental to maintain accurate records and streamline clinic operations.
• Perform aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in four-handed dentistry, working closely with the dentist and other assistants to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
• Support the dentist during procedures, including suctioning, retracting, and other tasks as needed.
• Assist with dental laboratory procedures, including taking impressions.
• Requirements :
• We are looking someone who is Bilingual (Spanish)
• Valid RDA license with experience in implant or surgical procedures.
• BLS / CPR certified
• Strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures and protocols.
• Familiarity with Open Dental.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Adherence to aseptic technique and HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
