Job Overview
Sales Ambassador is responsible for managing sales growth in the assigned portfolio of accounts. Through strong customer relationship skills and fact-based selling, the goal of the Sales Ambassador is to meet or exceed their annual business objectives and support the long-term growth of Coca-Cola Consolidated, Inc. in that portfolio of accounts through support and collaboration with the aligned field sales partner. This role is also required to ensure execution of the commercial strategy across multiple channels of business.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate sales growth in assigned account base through execution of commercial strategies and contracts, selling in incremental packages, displays and equipment, and closing all sales calls daily
- Build and maintain profitable customer relationships
- Customer order behavior monitoring
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including Customer Connection Hub, as well as other field sales and distribution roles
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Food / beverage industry experience preferredAbility to create and conduct sales presentations requiredStrong attention to detail and implementation / follow-up skills requiredExcellent planning and organizational skills requiredProficiency in computer application and multitasking skills requiredAbility to use and understand omni-channel selling toolsAbility to work variable schedule, including weekends and holidays requiredMinimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED with 1 to 3 years of relevant experienceOne (or more) years of previous sales experience required. Strong selling and negotiation experience requiredMust have and maintain a valid driver's license with current vehicle liability insurance, as specified by companyMust provide and maintain a personal vehicle to comply with schedule adherence and required travel within assigned market(s)Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or MarketingFood / beverage industry experienceWork Environment
