Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 international law firm , is seeking a talented Junior Associate Attorney to join its celebrated Government Contracts team in Tysons . This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated and high-stakes matters involving federal procurement laws, bid protests, claims, investigations, and government-related litigation.
Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Virginia , in good standing
- 2–4 years of substantive government contracts experience
- Strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other federal procurement laws
- Experience with bid protests , investigations , and claims
- Exceptional legal research, writing , and analytical skills
- Ability to take initiative, work efficiently, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to professional excellence
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in government contracts matters , including bid protests, investigations, claims, and related litigationAdvise clients on federal procurement laws , including compliance with the FAR and agency-specific regulationsConduct legal research and draft memoranda , motions , pleadings , and other litigation documentsSupport case strategy and matter management across various stages of dispute resolution and advisory workWork closely with partners and senior attorneys in a team-oriented settingProvide high-quality, timely, and detail-oriented legal work productWhy Join Us?

Compensation & Benefits
