Registered Nurse - Now Hiring

For more information, visit www.jobs.premisehealth.com.\n\nAs a PRN Registered Nurse (RN), Occupational Health, you'll provide care to client employees in our Wellness Center located in Friendly, WV. The scheduled hours are PRN as needed, Monday - Friday, 7am-4pm. Previous Occ Health experience a plus.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n

• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.).\n
• Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within the scope of practice.\n
• Delivers evidence-based care to injured workers, accelerates return to work, and coordinates case management with the TPA and client.\n
• Implements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workers.\n
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).\n
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.\n
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.\n
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.\n
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care.\n
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals and resources, and company departments on health programs and injury prevention.\n
• Assists with accident investigations, return-to-work programs, and workplace safety initiatives.\n
• Performs other duties as assigned.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n
• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred.\n
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required.\n
• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN / COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites.\n
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.\n
• At least three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic.\n
• Experience in strategies to promote and maintain healthy, safe, and productive workplaces, including : partners to identify / mitigate workplace hazards, health screenings / education, fitness for duty, and return to work exams.\n\nWork-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
