Illinois Licensed TeleNurse Specialist

A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist - TeleNurse (Every Other Weekend; 8 Hours / Week).

Key Responsibilities

Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately

Verify patient information and register new patients in the EHR system

Schedule appointments and assist with daily reports and quality checks

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School graduate or GED required

Minimum of one (1) year of medical office and / or phone experience preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred

Proficient typing skills required

Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of software programs
