⚙️ Position Overview
We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist with a passion for trauma recovery, culturally sensitive care, and meaningful client connection. In addition to delivering high-quality clinical services, the ideal candidate will actively participate in social media outreach to help grow visibility, drive referrals, and expand community engagement.
- ? Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy , specializing in trauma-informed and culturally competent care.
- Collaboratively develop treatment goals using mindfulness, narrative therapy , and other evidence-based approaches.
- Maintain clear and timely documentation and compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Engage clients both via telehealth , offering flexibility and access.
- Create a safe, empowering, and non-judgmental space for all clients.
- Contribute to practice marketing by creating and posting :
- Short-form videos (Reels / Posts) with mental health education or insights.
- Images or graphics that reflect our brand and values.
- Engaging captions or quotes to encourage referrals and online engagement.
- Collaborate on marketing strategy and attend occasional community-building events or virtual webinars as a representative of the practice.
- ?️ Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and treatment for complex trauma.
- Familiarity and comfort working with diverse populations , including BIPOC clients, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and adolescents.
- Experience or interest in using social media professionally to promote mental health awareness and practice visibility.
- ? Preferred Qualifications
- Active clinical license in Pennsylvania ( LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSW, etc. ) (preferred)
- Trauma certification (e.g., CCTP – Certified Clinical Trauma Professional ).
- Previous experience working in private practice or community mental health settings.
- Knowledge of Canva, Instagram, Facebook, or short-form video editing tools is a plus .
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a remote / hybrid team.
