Job Description :

The Accounting Assistant will support our finance department with daily accounting tasks and administrative responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and looking to grow in an accounting or finance career path. This is a part-time, in-office Accounting Assistant position.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with accounts payable processing
• Record financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the general ledger
• Maintain and update accounting files and documentation
• Generate reports, spreadsheets, and financial summaries as needed
• Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy and proper approvals
• Assist with audits by preparing and providing required documentation
• Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry

Education : High School

Experience : 12 months

Skills :

Related Experience : 14 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience, Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar), Familiarity with invoice processing and reconciliation procedures, Ability to work independently and in a team environment, Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
